A good tamp is an important part of making great espresso, but as any barista knows, doing this regularly on a counter surface ins’t great for your portafilter or the counter itself. This square black  tamping mat is made of thick rubber that will protect your equipment and your kitchen surfaces. It is 6in x 6in or ~15cm x ~15cm in size.
